Maca Matcha Green Tea Beverage


This is such a refreshing and energizing beverage! It’s great to cool you off in the heat and pick you up from feeling sluggish. It’s also a great substitute for coffee… and it’s both nutritious AND delicious!

Ingredients:

1/2 – 1 tsp Maca Root Powder ~ superfood, energy boosting, rich in vitamins and minerals

1 tsp Matcha Green tea ~ energy boosting, antioxidant

3 tsp Raw Cacao powder ~ antioxidant, great source of minerals

1-2 tsp of Raw Honey ~ antioxidant, immune booster

1 cup of Almond Milk (or milk of your choice)

4 ice cubes ~ cold! :)

dash of Cayenne Pepper ~ detoxifying, stimulates circulation, digestive aid * I know this ingredient sounds crazy, but it gives a really nice kick! Try it, if you don’t like it, next time don’t use it :)

Instructions:

I recommend chilling a class in the freezer while you are prepping your drink for those really hot days! Put all ingredients into a blender and blend it up!

* You can over do it with Maca Root powder, so be sure not to have more than 1 tsp of it a day. It’ may be good to take small breaks from it occasionally also. Introduce 1/2 a tsp at first before using 1 tsp.
